Pacific Northwest Economic Conference 2011 is a unique event where people from British Columbia, and the rest of the Pacific Northwest region including that of Washington and Oregon come together to discuss: common economic issues facing the Pacific Northwestern region, the strengths and weaknesses of the region’s developing and thriving industries such as technology and tourism and benefits and differences of the sociology and geography of the Pacific Northwest compared to other regions.
The Conference invites leading experts from corporations, non-government organizations and academia to speak about how our region can leverage its unique characteristics to fully participate in the global economy, while harnessing stronger relationships between the people of this region, especially the students, who will be the future minds to continue building this region economically and socially.
