Human Resources Management Club

The UBC Human Resource Management Club (HRMC) aims to serve as a valuable resource for OBHR candidates and those interested in developing their skills for application in the workplace by providing opportunities for networking with industry professionals and peers, informational speaker sessions, and workshops for skill development.

Human Resources professionals adapt to the needs of each organization to facilitate growth and retention of their most valuable asset – people. We host a variety of events throughout the academic year with a focus on either one of information, growth or networking in order to guide students in their career path and help determine if HRM is the right choice for them.

This year, the HRMC will expand their presence amongst students from a variety of options and faculties so that we can contribute to exposing anyone with a passion or interest in the HRM career field to the vast variety of functions that this field entails. Our HRMC team is very excited to meet you during Business Week 2010 to let you know all about our upcoming events and activities and how we want to make the 2010/2011 academic year one of the most insightful and inspiring year of your undergraduate degree. In other words, we are thrilled to have you onboard! Are you ready to jump on and explore the dynamic possibilities awaiting you?
